Homemade Plum Jam Recipe with Whiskey & Ginger 🍯
When the plums are soft, add sugar and stir until it dissolves. Turn up the heat and let it boil. Stir to prevent sticking. Boil for 10-15 minutes until it thickens and passes the wrinkle test. Remove from heat, skim off any foam, and pour the hot jam into clean jars, leaving some space at the top.. Mix the plums with sugar until they are all covered. Set them aside for an hour, and then put the whole thing in a big pot to cook. Open it up and bring it to a boil, stirring every now and then. Bring the mixture to a boil until it bubbles evenly. Let it cook slowly for 10 minutes, then turn off the heat.
